Learning in French Oral Prep is constructed around the following elements:
Usually, we meet each student just three times - either in individual sessions, shared sessions, or in small groups. We figure three sessions gives us enough time to work through a focussed amount of material. Combined with our personalised notes, that is a perfect amount of prep for most students.
In our courses, we get straight down preparing for the oral examination. Once registered, students provide their key information using our template, we work through it in French with you during two prep sessions, and then we put you through a mock exam to get you ready for the Big Day!
Learning alongside other people has proven benefits, and it can be really enjoyable also! In our shared courses, we facilitate students who want to share their prep sessions with one or two friends.
French Oral Prep is not just about the prep sessions. A unique feature of our service is that we provide each student with their own set of personalised notes. After each of the prep sessions, students receive a set of notes in typed format and also recorded by a native speaker on MP3. Work on your accent while you go for a walk!
Notes given by class teachers are usually excellent, but they are for the whole class. French Oral Prep notes are specifically tailored to each individual student so you can focus on learning what really applies to you.
All sessions are scheduled to suit you. Our Skype course is for individuals who live too far away, or who simply don’t have the time to travel to us. When we deliver prep sessions by Skype, we divide them in half - just 30 minutes long each. Easy to fit into a home study plan.
